Nurse clinics are about supporting you and your pet

There are often lots of little questions that you didn’t really want to bother the vet for.

Nurses can

Discuss your concerns
Draw up health plans such as weight loss programs or exercise and diet regimes for elderly pets
Help you monitor your pets progress

When do you need to see a Vet?

The nurse cannot diagnose medical conditions
Many nurse clinics are arranged following diagnosis of a condition by the vet. The vet may suggest that you and your pet would benefit from support from our nursing staff.
However some clubs like the Chub Club (Weight Clinic) and Over 8 Club are open to anyone.

Occasionally the nurse may feel that your pet would benefit from seeing the vet.
Consultation and treatment charges will apply in these cases.

Don’t be afraid to ask for an estimate of costs.
